Morgan Stanley Foundation Awards Grant to Arkansas Foodbank

The Arkansas Foodbank is happy to announce a new grant from the Morgan Stanley Foundation to support  our fresh produce program.  The funds will be used to increase our ability to access, transport and store fresh produce and provide fruits and vegetables for families in need. The Arkansas Foodbank is one of six food banks that received funding from Morgan Stanley as part of a $250,000 gift to Feeding America® member food banks to help develop, launch, expand and sustain fresh produce programs.

“By providing the people we serve with increased access to fresh fruits and vegetables, we give them the building blocks for a healthy life,” said Rhonda Sanders, Chief Executive Officer of the Arkansas Foodbank. “We are excited to partner with Morgan Stanley as we work to improve the health of the people in our community.”
